Black Stars B coach Maxwell Konadu has arrived in Kumasi ahead of an imminent return to Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko, according to media report.

The 46-year-old is expected to take over from Kjetil Zachariassen who sacked by the Porcupine Warriors after failing to qualify them to the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.

Widespread reports indicate that coach Konadu has touched down in the Garden City as his switch to the club draws nearer ahead of the start of the new season.

According to reports, the deal is expected to be concluded in the coming days.

Maxwell Konadu was adjudged the Best Coach of the just ended WAFU tournament after guiding the Black Stars B to finish second following a shootout defeat to the hosts Senegal.

He managed Asante Kotoko to win the Ghana Premier League in 2011.
