The move has been called off despite reports in the local media claiming that the Black Stars B gaffer has reached agreement with the club to take over the vacant job.

The Porcupine Warriors are currently without a head coach after the sacking of Norwegian coach Kjetil Zachariassen due to the failure to reach the group stages of the 2019/20 CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup.

The management of the Kumasi-based club will be announcing a foreigner as their new head coach.

Coach Konadu guided the Reds lads to clinch the Ghana Premier League title during the 2011/12 season.

He was named the best coach at the 2019 WAFU Cup after helping Ghana to finish second after the tournament.
