Coach Maxwell Konadu will have the support of the playing body – Felix Annan

Kumasi Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Felix Annan has stressed that the club’s new manager Maxwell Konadu will have the support of all players to help achieve his target.

The club has hired the former Black Stars assistant manager to take over from Norwegian tactician, Kjetil Zachariassen who performed woefully with the team during their campaigns in the CAF Champions League and the Confederations Cup.

Konadu was confirmed as the new head coach for the Porcupine Warriors on Monday evening but was officially presented to his player on Wednesday afternoon at their training facility at Adako Jachie.

At the end of the presentation, Kotoko captain Felix Annan in an interview observed that the players are ready to work for their new gaffer.

The Black Stars goalie shared, “As I was saying, the feeling is always great. I always say that we the players we sign contract for Asante Kotoko so we will welcome any coach that comes in and we will work with him”.

He continued, “We know Maxwell is one of the best coaches in the country so we welcome him and then we congratulate him for getting this great job in this great club”.

“We are going to do our best and we will support him 200% so that together we can all achieve the target of the club”, the Black Stars goalie told Journalists”.

Meanwhile, Maxwell Konadu is expected to officially begin work on Monday, December 16, 2019.
