Coach Samuel Boadu wins double with Hearts of Oak in first season

Highly-rated Ghanaian tactician, Samuel Boadu has led Hearts of Oak to win the double at the end of the 2020/2021 football season just six months since he joined the club.

The coach was appointed as new head coach for the Phobians earlier this year in March after resigning from a similar position at fellow Premier League outfit Medeama SC.

Although Hearts of Oak was in a bad position when he assumed the role, Coach Samuel Boadu managed to turn around the fortunes of the team.

As a result, the team has for the first time in 21 years won the double [Ghana Premier League and MTN FA Cup titles].

Coach Samuel Boadu hence achieves a feat that was last achieved by the legendary Hearts of Oak coach, Cecil Jones Attuquayefio.

Courtesy of the triumph this season, Coach Samuel Boadu will for the first time in his coaching career take a team to Africa next season.

He will play in the CAF Champions League with the Phobians next season.
