According to reports in the local media on Friday afternoon Serbian trainer Slavko Matic has parted ways with Accra Hearts of Oak.

Slavko Matic recently had a difficult time with supporters of the club. He was confronted and prevented from working at the Hearts of Oak training grounds.

Matic lodged a formal complaint at the Ghana Police Headquarters and he was told to stay away from the team until further notice.

The Serbian was not on the bench during Accra Hearts of Oak's victory against bitter rivals Asante Kotoko in the Super Clash/President's Cup. Assistant coach David Ocloo managed the Phobians that day.

The reports also state that assistant coach David Ocloo will manage the team until a new coach is appointed by the management of the club.

The Phobians are fourth on the league table with 31 points after 20 games. They will play Bibiani Gold Stars away in their next league game.
