Azzurri coach Paolo Zanetti spoke in the Antonio Bassi press room at the Stadio Carlo Castellani on the eve of the Coppa Italia clash against Spal:
"We will have to face this match as if it was the first of the championship. This is the concept we've always had, we've played friendlies as if it were the league: it's a question of mentality beyond the opponent. There will be times when Spal will put us in difficulty, they have a very good coach with whom I had great challenges in Serie B, for us it will be an interesting challenge to understand where we are at. It will be a match that will make us make assessments ahead of the next game, which will obviously be the most important one.
