Former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore supports Tottenham fans taunting Jack Wilshere after he suffered an ankle injury in defeat for Bournemouth on Saturday.

Wilshere, who is on loan from Arsenal, endured a nightmare return to north London as Eddie Howe's side were blown away by Spurs courtesy of a 4-0 scoreline.

"Tottenham fans were spot on to give Jack Wilshere some stick when he was injured," Collymore told the Mirror.

"After all, Wilshere didn't mind giving them some after Arsenal won the FA Cup a couple of years ago.

"Nowadays we're in an age of players scoring and it's all, 'Ooh, sorry, sorry I scored...'

"Absolutely ridiculous. I mean, for crying out loud, man up!"
