Medeama conceded three goals in seven minutes to lose 3-1 to Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Confederation Cup playoff first leg on Saturday.
Eric Kwakwa handed Medeama a surprise lead in the first minute when his long range shot flew past the hapless Sundowns goalie.
But, Sundowns had something special in store and left the Ghanaian side stunned in a seven-minute blitz.
First, they drew level on 81 minutes when Colombian import Leandro Castro headed-in a corner at the near post with goalkeeper Muntari Tagoe stranded.
Four minutes afterwards, Khama Billiat's scored their second from an innocuous volley which flew over Tagoe who was caught flat footed.
In the 87th minutes, substitute Cuthbert Malajila shot in from inside the box after a lovely work on the left flank.
The return leg will be at Sekondi Essipong Stadium on May 18 with the winner advancing to the Group stage.
