Ghana striker Raphael Dwamena scored a stoppage time equalizer for Egnatia on Thursday in their Europa Conference League qualifier against Ararat-Armenia.

Dwamena's Albanian club will now head into the return fixture with the advantage after the first leg game played FFA Academy Stadium in Yerevan.

The 27-year-old was handed a starting role and lasted the entire game, playing out at the left flank.

Brazilian midfielder Alemao opened the scoring after 36 minutes into the game, as the home side headed into the break with the advantage.

The game seemed to be going toward a win for Ararat-Armenia but Raphael Dwamne had other ideas very late in the clash.

A free kick was launched in in the 96th minute from a very long way out. Dwamena rose highest and diverted the ball into the back of the net to spark ecstatic jubilations from the visitors.

He has just signed a fresh two-year contract extension with Egnatia.
