Experienced football administrator, George Amoako has agreed to join King Faisal as the club’s new Executive Chairman after partying ways with Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

Just a few weeks ago, George Amoako was relieved of his post at the camp of the Porcupine Warriors when the newly appointed board of directors took the decision to dissolve the management committee of the team.

King Faisal owner Alhaji Grusah immediately approached him to try and poach him to work for the side.

Following successful talks between the two parties, George Amoako has accepted to become the new Executive Chairman of the Ghana Premier League outfit.

"It's true, we have concluded talks and I will assume the role of Executive Chairman of the club, running the day to day activities with Alhaji Grusah remaining the Bank roller, founder and President of King Faisal”, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council member told Oyerepa FM today.

This will be the second time George Amoako is going to work for King Faisal with his first stint coming way back in the early 2000s.
