Conte fears Manchester City already have the title sewn up.

Conte said: “Now it is very difficult to think someone can stop them. It doesn't depend just on us. They are playing very well and they are having fantastic results. They are having a fantastic run because they have won every game apart from a draw against Everton."

Chelsea face Qarabag this week in Azerbaijan.

Conte continued: “On Wednesday, we have to play the most important game of our season since the start.

“Because if we are able to win the game against Qarabag we can go through to the next round. That will be very important. It won't be easy because in their last two games Qarabag have drawn twice with Atletico Madrid – and Roma struggled a lot to win against them. It will be very important to be focused."
