Covid-19: Caleb Ekuban advised by family to stay in Turkey

Ghanaian international Caleb Ekuban has been advised by his family to stay in Turkey amidst the growing Coronavirus scare in Ghana.

The Trabzonspor forward has been given the clear to travel back to his hometown of Villafranca after the situation in Turkey concerning the Covid-19 came down a bit in the last couple of weeks.

With several players traveling to link up with the families in other parts of Europe, Caleb Ekuban was planning to do same.

In a latest report, footballghana.com has picked up charter indicating that his family has asked him to Turkey instead. They believe that the current situation in Italy is scarier than that of Turkey and hence it will be safer to stay there.

As of Monday, April 13, 2020, Italy remains one of the most hit countries by the Coronavirus. They have recorded over 150,000 confirmed cases and has a death toll of more than 19,000.

Celeb Ekuban is now expected to stay at his home in Turkey and will wait for the Super Lig to resume when the storm of Covid-19 pass away.
