Ghanaian defender John Boye has made a donation to support widows and widowers of Teshie Mangoase to help them through the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis.

Ghana just like any country in the world is battling the Coronavirus virus disease which has been declared as a global pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Black Stars and FC Metz defender John Boye has joined in on the donations being made by players and well-meaning people to give to widows and widowers of Teshie Mangoase in the Greeter Accra Region.

The center-back has provided food items as well as toiletries to aid the widows and widowers to get through the challenges presented by the Coronavirus crisis.

Amongst the donated items included bags of rice, frytol, drinks, cartons of bottled mineral water, cartons of milo and milk, etc.

The player who was born in Teshie is showing this kind of gesture as a way of giving back to the community where he grew up.

The donation was done at the Spirit of Angel Church which is located at Teshie Mangoase. Because Boye is currently not in the country, the donation was done by his family.
