Cristiano Ronaldo Hits Back at Xavi in Sensational Outburst

Cristiano Ronaldo has hit back at former Barcelona and Spain maestro Xavi in spectacular fashionafter the latter said thatthe Portuguese acewas unfortunate to be playing his football in the same era as former Barca teammate Lionel Messi, theDailyMailreports.


Despite Xavi calling Ronaldo an elite player, the Euro 2016 winner spoke back at the former La Liga winner, mocking the fact he has never won a Ballon d'Or and stating thathe himself has won 3 in his career so far.

Ronaldo then went on to speak about where Xavi plays and that he's the most searched footballeron the net.


"What does it matter to me what Xavi says? He plays where? In Qatar or somewhere, I don't know", before Ronaldo bragged of his own status,saying that "the most searched for player on the web is me."

Messi has won 5 Ballon d'Ors, and despite Ronaldo winning 2 less, he will be hoping he will win the biggest individual award in football once again this year.


Xavi spoke to Spanish radio station,Cadena Serearlier this week and he said "only a fool could have played football and not recognise Cristiano is an elite football. But he just has had bad luck to be around at the same time as Leo(Messi)."


Ronaldo played inhis comeback game for Madrid on Saturdayand scored in the 6th minute as Real saw offOsasuna 6-2 at the Bernabeu.
