Cristiano Ronaldo Left Fuming With Real Madrid Teammate in Tunnel Bust-Up After Valencia Loss

Published on: 23 February 2017

Cristiano Ronaldo is so fiercely competitive that he was apparently left fuming with one unknown Real Madrid team-mate following this week's La Liga defeat at the hands of Valencia.

Real, who lead the Spanish standings by a point and have a game in hand, were stunned as Valencia scored twice in the opening nine minutes at the Mestalla on Wednesday night.

Ronaldo pulled a goal back just before half-time, but Los Blancos were unable to complete the comeback as Valencia held on for an important win that propelled them up to 14th.

The four-time Ballon d'Or winner is alleged to have vented his anger in the tunnel after the final whistle and a report from AS has quoted Ronaldo as shouting "I scored a goal, what did you do?" at a Real colleague who remains unidentified.

Ronaldo's goal at least also maintained the club's exceptional record of scoring in every game they play. Real have found the net in all 38 games they've played this season across all competitions, as well as the final five of 2015/16 to make it 43 in a row.

The last team to keep a clean sheet against Zinedine Zidane's side was Manchester City in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final tie between the two back in April.
