Cristiano Ronaldo's Moroccan 'Kickboxing Pal' Sentenced to 2 Years in Dutch Prison

A close friend of Cristiano Ronaldo's has been sentenced to two years in a DutchPrison afterbeing found guilty of assault, according to theMail.


Badr Hari, a Moroccan kickboxer, is said to have been involved in a handful of incidents in Amsterdam back2011 and 2012. Although he was not present in court for the sentencing, he is now expected to leave his homeland and travel to the Netherlands where his lawyer expects that he will serve a minimum of six months in prison.

Hari was found guilty of two counts of assault, one said to have occurred inside Ajax's home ground, the Amsterdam Arena, whilst the other is understood to have taken place insidea nightclub.


The 32-year-old is thought to be a close friend of the 2016 Ballon d'Or winner and the Mail report that the two were previously accused of being in a homosexual relationship with one another.

Both men have posted pictures on a variety of different social media platforms in the past showing their close friendship and Ronaldo himself is understood to have travelled to Morocco on several occasions to visit Hari.


The Moroccan is recognised as one of the world's best kickboxers having been crowned as K1 heavyweight champion back in 2008, before going on to become the Showtime heavyweight champion two years later.


Despite his success in the ring, Hari has been involved in a number of controversial incidents away from kickboxing, which led to a psychologist reportedly diagnosing him as having'narcissistic personality traits' during a trial in the Netherlands.
