Ghana and Crystal Palace ace Jeffrey Schlupp could spend a lengthy spell on the sidelines after picking up an injury.
The defender who excels when deployed in midfield or attacking role suffered an injury setback last weekend during his side’s English Premier League game against Watford.
Following several checks, it is understood that he has suffered a hip injury that could see him miss action for as long as 8 weeks.
It comes as a big blow to the Eagles who have benefited from his impressive form in the last couple of weeks where he managed to find the back of the net two times in the previous 3 games.
Crystal Palace now has to wait until late February 2020 before they get their man back.
