Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish says their plans to find a new manager will be a two-way process.

The Eagles are currently searching for a new manager following the shock resignation of Sam Allardyce ten days ago – just two days after the end of the Premier League season.

"It is important that whoever takes over has the right level of support from us but also that we are realistic," Parish told Sirius XM FC.

"That is important, it is not a one-way interview process.

"They have got to be comfortable with the situation they are coming into and I am always very forthright about what is available and what is not."
