English Premier League (EPL) club Crystal Palace is reportedly close to singing Swansea City attacker Jordan Ayew for a fee of £2.5 million.

According to a BBC report, the Ghanaian international who spent last season on loan with Palace is on the verge of securing a permanent move away from Swansea.

In the 2018/2019 season, Ayew struggled to find his feet for the Eagles and only managed to score two goals for the side after making 25 appearances in all competitions.

Following a somewhat disappointing season, it looked as if the Black Stars striker was not going to be offered a permanent contract until the last couple of weeks where has shown quality in front of goal whiles playing for his national team.

The 27-year-old has managed to score two goals in three matches for his side at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) which helped them to book qualification into the round of 16 of the tournament.

His performance in those three matches is said to have impressed Palace who is now ready to buy him from Swansea for a fee of £2.5 million plus ad-ons.
