According to reports, Crystal Palace coach Patrick Vieira is planning to visit Ghana in the summer because he has heard it is the best place to be during the festive period.

Patrick Vieira manages three Ghanaians at Palace that is attacker Jordan Ayew, versatile Jeffery Schlupp, and youngster Jesuran Rak-Sakyi.

Jesuran Rak-Sakyi is currently on loan at League One club Charlton Athletic.

Rak-Sakyi made his debut for Charlton, aged 19, in a 5–1 League One win home at Plymouth Argyle on 17 August 2022 where he scored the side's first goal. Ten days later, on 27 August 2022, Rak-Sakyi scored for Charlton again in a 1–1 League One draw away at Wycombe Wanderers.

Footballers like Memphis Depay, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Eddie Nketiah, Timothy Fosu-Mensah, and Quincy Promes among others have travelled to spend their vacations in Ghana.
