Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew has opened up on the possibility of playing in the Ghana Premier League before his retirement.

The Black Stars forward who recently reached hundred career goal has spent his entire career playing in Europe (France and England).

In an interview with GTV Sports Plus, the 31-year-old hinted he could play in the domestic top-flight but was clear he will be playing for a team based in Accra.

"The Ghana Premier League is something that I have in mind one day I could play for a team in Accra because I base in Accra," he told Gtv Sports Plus.

Ayew has had stints with several clubs in Europe including Marseille, Sochaux, Aston Villa, and Swansea City.

The former Olympique Marseille striker will return to England this week for pre-season as Crystal Palace begin preparations ahead of the new season.
