And it seems he's missing the club he says are his "club at heart". Mandanda refused to directly answer any questions on his future, but made it clear that he still has special feelings for Marseille.

Asked about a possible return, he said:"Ican not answer now. Marseille is my club at heart. It does not depend on me. We must see how their project falls into place. I can not say no because we know very well that anything can happen in football. But for now, this is not news."

The French international has been out for much of November with a knee injury, but hasreceived criticism from somefans for his performances this season.

He added that a move to another Premier League club is also not out of the question.

"Could I end up at a bigger English club? It will depend on my performances. In football, anything is possible," he said.

Palace are yet to keep a clean sheet and find themselves on a run of six successive defeats in the Premier League. As a result, they are only outside of the relegation zone by virtue of goal difference.
