Crystal Palace offer manager\'s job to Frank de Boer

Crystal Palace have offered the manager's job to Frank de Boer.

Palace boss Steve Parish has been looking for a new manager since ex-England boss Sam Allardyce - having led the club to safety - walked away on May 23.

De Boer, 47, held talks with the Palace hierarchy and impressed with his vision for the club.

The former Ajax coach has been out of work since being sacked by Inter Milan last year, having lasted just three months at San Siro, winning only five of his 14 games in charge.

That came after the ex-Holland and Barcelona defender enjoyed a successful time in Amsterdam, leading Ajax to four titles in less than six years at the helm of the Dutch club.

Should the Dutchman take charge of the south London club, he will become their third manager in the last 12 months.
