Crystal Palace striker Jordan Ayew has become Ghana's highest scorer in the English Premier League after scoring for the Eagles against Bournemouth on Saturday.

Ayew bagged his 25th goal in the top flight since moving to England five years ago as Palace secured a 2-0 win at the Vitality stadium.

Milivojevic put the visitors in front thanks to a splendid direct free kick in the 12th minute before the 28-year-old finished off a brilliantly executed team move to give the Eagles a two-goal cushion in the 23rd minute.

Crystal Palace held on for the rest of the game to secure the vital win.

Ayew, who has now scored in three consecutive Premier League games for the first time in his career lasted the entire duration of the game.

This season, the former Aston Villa ace has scored nine goals in 29 appearances for Palace.

The striker is Ghana's top scorer in the Premier League with 25 goals, leapfrogging Leeds United legend Anthony Yeboah to achieve the feat.
