Czech side SFC Opava sign Ghana’s Endy Bernadin

Ghanaian forward Endy Opoku Bernadin has joined Czech side SFC Opava on a three-year-deal in the on-going January transfer window.

The Dutch-born Ghanaian is signed as a back-up skipper for the side which are currently in goal scoring crisis.

Speaking to the media after Bernadin penned the contract, the General Manager Alois Grussmann said, "This is an interesting player, I believe he will help us. Although he is a foreigner, but he knows the Slovak language and thus does not have a language barrier problem".

The new SFC has Ghana roots. He previously played for the youth team of PSV Eindhoven, FC Twente, RKC Waalwik, RKVV Deso.

He also played for Banska Bystrica and Slovakia top side Podbrezová. The 22-year-old made 68 appearances in the top Slovak competition, where he scored 12 goals and providing six assists in the process.
