Danbort and Still Believe FC lawyers to meet GFA over unqualified official case

Published on: 22 June 2023

Lawyers representing Danbort FC and Still Believe FC are set to meet with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in an urgent attempt to address the pressing issue surrounding the involvement of an unqualified official in a recent match.

The football clubs, determined to seek justice and ensure fair play within the sport, have taken decisive action, aiming to shed light on the alleged misconduct and find a resolution that upholds the integrity of the game.

Danbort claims Still Believe FC had an unqualified official on their bench and per the rules, the team who added the unqualified official to their bench will be deducted three points.

Danbort sent a complaint to the Ghana Football Association demanding three points but the matter was not quickly resolved

Officials and lawyers of both teams have been told to meet the Ghana Football Association today to settle the matter.

"Yesterday we went to the FA to ask for Still Believe's defense so that we go through it and reply. We don't understand why they don't want us to see Still Believe's defense until today," Danbort Lawyer Amoah Larbi told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

"I was confused so I went there I didn't meet the chairman and the vice but I met other officials and their posture was so bad,"
