In a display of community spirit, Besiktas defender Daniel Amartey has once again showcased his commitment to making a positive impact beyond the football pitch.

As anticipation builds for this year's highly anticipated Cheetah Cup, Amartey has stepped forward as a beacon of generosity, donating items that are set to bolster the much-awaited event.

This year's tournament will kick off on 14th August 2023 at Senya. Items presented include 10 bags of rice, two gallons of oil, and an undisclosed amount of money.

Abdul Hayye Yartey, the founder of the Cheetah Cup, stated after receiving the items that he is happy with the former Leicester City defender for coming out to support the tournament.

“It is always great to see footballers and ex-footballers giving back to the sports and society and I’m elated by what Daniel Amartey has done,” Mr. Yartey said.

Amartey joined Besiktas this summer from Leicester City. He scored his first goal for the Turkish club against Tirana in the Uefa Conference League on 3rd August.
