Defender Daniel Heber provided an assist in FC Magdeburg's 1-1 draw against Karlsruhe SC on Sunday 5th February at the MDCC-Arena. He played full throttle in the encounter as a left back.
With the first good chance, the visitors took the lead, Sebastian Jung scored from a distance. FCM attacked for the first time in the 12th minute when Castaignos narrowly missed a cross and then Kwarteng fired wide to the left. Five minutes later Kwarteng's shot was blocked.
Both teams went into the second round without a change. The first two opportunities fell to FCM but Ito and Castaignos could find the back of the net.
In the four-minute stoppage time, Daniel Elfadli managed to equalize late before the referee ended the game. Daniel Elfadli's late goal was assisted by Daniel Heber.
FCM is bottom of the league table with 18 points after 19 games.
Daniel Heber joined FC Magdeburg in the January winter transfer window from Rot Weiss Essen.
