Ghana midfielder, Daniel Kofi Kyereh is likely to miss Freiburg's away clash against Bayern Munich on Sunday.
Kyereh, who has been impressive since joining the side from St. Pauli sustained an injury last weekend.
The 26-year-old was out of action in Freiburg's big win against FC Nantes in the Europa League on Thursday.
Manager Christian Streich gave in his pre-match presser when quizzed about his availability.
"It is very difficult if Daniel-Kofi Kyereh is fit for Sunday's game," he said.
"We have to see who is healthy and then we're happy that we can go to Munich in this constellation."
Kofi Kyereh has been in a very good form and notched in the last three matches he played and his presence would have been really malleable in this herculean task.
The game is scheduled for 17:30GMT tomorrow at the Allianz Arena.
Kyereh is expected to make Ghana's squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar later in November this year.
