Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Joe Carr has waved into talks that Danlad Ibrahim has become complacent.
In an interview with Oyerepa FM, Joe Carr rubbished such talks, insisting that it is not a trait of the talented youngster.
According to him, Danlad Ibrahim appears to be tired and should be given enough rest to recover.
“Danlad Ibrahim is not being complacent, he is exhausted. He has been traveling around for Black Stars and Black Galaxies and I think he is tired and needs rest,” Joe Carr said.
The retired Ghanaian goalkeeper added, “He [Danlad Ibrahim has to be rested for some two matches for him to regain his energy”
Danlad has been involved in a lot of games since last year, playing a key part not only in the Ghana Premier League for Asante Kotoko but also as the first-choice goalie of the Black Galaxies.
In his absence, Ghanaian youngster Frederick Asare has stepped up for the Porcupine Warriors and doing very well for the team.
