Darmstadt's forward, Braydon Manu, faces yet another setback in what seems to be a string of unfortunate events for the 26-year-old.
Head coach Torsten Lieberknecht revealed that Manu will be out of action once again, dealing a blow to both the player and the team.
This latest setback comes on the heels of a series of challenges, including recurring ankle issues and a recent bout of tonsillitis, limiting Manu to a mere three appearances for the promoted side this season.
“Manu will be out with ankle pain. It's a shame that he's not really getting into the season due to injury," said the trainer in the preliminary discussion of the home game against VfL Bochum.
The German-born Ghanaian forward will not be able to help his team for at least 14 days.
Braydon Manu made 28 appearances, scored seven goals, and assisted seven in the German second division.
