Ghanaian international, Dauda Mohammed has commenced pre-season with his Belgium side Anderlecht after joining his teammates last week.

The young enterprising attacker spent the last 6 months on loan with Eredivisie side Vitesse Arnhem where he impressed. During his stay in Holland, he helped the team to secure Europa League qualification and came close to making his stay permanent until a reported negotiation hit a snag.

After seeing out his loan deal with the club, he has returned to his parent club in Belgium as they set off their pre-season campaign.

Checks have revealed that the former Kotoko striker joined the rest of the squad this week as player-manager Vincent Kompany took them through some drills. The team is expected to continue the training for some number of weeks and will be playing friendly matches as well.

Dauda Mohammed who is just 21 years old will be hoping to impress his manager to convince him to hand him a starting role with Anderlecht next season when they start their campaign in the Belgium top-flight.
