D'AVERSA: "THE LADS WERE FANTASTIC FROM A TACTICAL POINT OF VIEW”

Parma's coach Roberto D'Aversa spoke in his post-match press conference following the 2-2 draw against Bologna.

“There’s regret because we were winning a match with ten seconds to go. I think we were deservedly in front with the chances we’d created and the problems we had going into this derby. We’re satisfied with the performance but bitter at having conceded two goals, especially from dead ball situations. However, I don’t feel like I can criticise the lads because they showed maximum commitment and created a number of goalscoring opportunities. We perhaps need to improve our game management because we had the ball prior to their corner, we must do better in terms of killing off games."

On Kulusevski who scored the first goal: “Irrespective of his age – because I believe that we often let ourselves be influenced by the year when players were born – Kulusevski is a strong footballer. I hope he continues to train and play with the maturity of an experienced player.  He’s determined and never likes to lose, not even when he goes in for a tackle. I think that this is what will lead to him becoming a great player. He’s someone who can be deployed in all roles, but it’s clear that he needs to improve in certain aspects."
