David Beckham's Hacked Emails Show Ex-England Star in Extremely Disturbing Light

Published on: 05 February 2017

Former Manchester United and Real Madrid star David Beckham seems your regular stand-up guy. But recent reports over hacked emails have made him to look the exact opposite.

The Englishman is now involved in a row with hackers, who revealed - from his emails - that Beckham referred to thehonours committee as 'unappreciative c**** following their failure to knight him, and also refused to fund their charity.

Football Leaks, a source which threatened to turn the sport upside down in recent months, are back at it again. And this time, England's golden boy is the subject of their discourse.

They are also claiming that Beckham reacted angrily when asked by his advisor, Simon Oliveira,to donate $1m (£800k) into a UNICEF prize-giving ceremony in Shanghai.

"I don't want to put my personal money into this cause," he is said to have replied

"To pour this million into the fund, is like putting my own money in. If there was no fund, the money would be for me. This f****** money is mine."

French outletMediapart published the revelations from Football Leaks and accused the former England captain of wanting to use his personal fund for promoting his own business activities.

A source close to Leaks said: "Humanitarian causes were just a stepping-stone for his personal affairs, and to project his image among advertisers."

In an email to Oliveira, Beckham also slammed Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins, who had been given an OBE after he was passed up for knighthood in 2013.

He is accused of writing: "Katherine Jenkins OBE for what? Singing at the rugby and going to see the troops plus taking coke. F****** joke."

Beckham was making reference to Jenkins admitting to using cocaine in her younger days.

One of the singer's representatives has since replied to Beckham's alleged comments.

"With regards to the taking of coke which Katherine has courageously publicly admitted with great honesty - this was when she was in her early 20s still a student “ over a decade before she was awarded her OBE and started her recording career, said the source (H/TMirror).

Below is a summary of the accusations stemming from the hacked emails, courtesy of theDaily Mail.

Beckham's representatives have had their say as well, branding the material 'hacked and doctored.'

"This story is based on outdated material taken out of context from hacked and doctored private emails from a third party server and gives a deliberately inaccurate picture," a rep said viaDigital Spy.

"David and UNICEF are rightly proud of what they have and will continue to achieve together and are happy to let the facts speak for themselves."
