David Moyes praises Mohammed Kudus impact at West Ham United

West Ham United manager, David Moyes has lauded Mohammed Kudus, saying he has started well at the club than he anticipated.

The 23-year-old had a slow start to life at the Premier League after completing a five-year deal from Dutch side, Ajax during the summer transfer window.

However, Kudus scored his sixth goal in all competitions in their 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace after sweeping Vladimir Coufal’s cross into the net over the weekend.

Speaking ahead of their game against Tottenham Hotspur last tonight, the former Manchester United boss praised the Ghana international for his impact so far at the club.

“Mo has started great for us. He’s had an impact with his goals and assists, and I think his all-round play has been good. I’ve been hugely impressed by how well he’s done. He’s probably started better than I would have anticipated” Moyes said and added.

“We eased him in during the first couple of games but since then we’ve found that he was scoring or making goals for us. Now he’s starting and doing much of the same, and we hope that continues," he added.

Kudus recently won West Ham's Goal of the Month award with his overhead kick against Brentford in the Premier League while he is also in the run for the Premier League's Goal of the Month award.

He is expected to be involved in the Hammers game against Spurs.
