Black Stars captain Andre Dede Ayew was on target on Saturday afternoon when his Swansea City side drew 1-1 with Barnsley in the English Championship.

In a match week 12 fixture played at the Oakwell Stadium, the two sides were forced to settle for a draw following unconvincing finishing from both sets of attackers.

A first half of limited chances ended goalless with both managers showing their displeasure on the touchline.

An improve performance from Swansea City saw them opening the scoring on the 67th minute when Dede Ayew found the back of the net.

The Swans could however not hold on and conceded 3 minutes later. Barnsley attacker Alex Mowatt with the equalizer to keep his side in the game.

The match ended 1-1 with the Ghanaian international lasting the entire duration.

Ayew now has 3 goals in the English Championship after making 11 appearances for the Swans.
