Defender Abraham Frimpong moves to Bosnia

Defender Abraham Frimpong has left Saudi Arabian club Al Ain after his contract expired on January 31st and moved to Bosnia to sign for Velez.

The 28-year-old joined the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium outfit from Hungarian heavyweights Ferencvaros TC in February 2021.

During his two-year stint at Ferencvaros, he made 55 appearances scored two goals and assisted 1 goal.

Abraham Frimpong made ten appearances for Saudi Arabian club Al Ain in the Saudi league.

Frimpong is a proven player on the international scene and his arrival will be a real boost for the Mostar Reds.

In the 2019/20 season, he played in the Champions League against Juventus and Barcelona. He is currently in the USA and will sign a one and half year contract with Velez in Bosnia
