Dennis Appiah landed in Forez on Friday and witness the match between Saint-Etienne and his old side Caen at Geoffroy-Guichard, according to the Peuple Vert.

Prior to signing his deal, the Canaries' defender must still pass all medical examinations. He will only join the Greens team next week and will be eligible for the next ASSE encounter on January 10 against Laval.

On 19 May 2010, Appiah signed his first professional contract agreeing to a three-year deal. He made his professional debut on 1 August 2011 in a league match against Boulogne. Appiah played the entire match, which ended 0–0.

The 30-year-old plays as a defensive midfielder and is also capable of playing in defense as a central defender.

He was a France youth international having earned caps at under-16, under-17, and under-18 level.
