Defender Larry Sumaila vows to return to Hearts of Oak, cites unfinished business after contract termination

Ghanaian defender Larry Sumaila has disclosed he has an unfinished business with Hearts of Oak and has therefore vowed to return to the club.

The 25-year-old who was part of the six players released by Hearts of Oak wants to return to the club one day.

In an interview with Koforidua-based Bryt FM, Sumaila said, “I will definitely return to Hearts of Oak because I have an unfinished business with the club”

Meanwhile, he has set ambitious target to win the UEFA Champions League title before calling it a quit.

“Locally, I have won every trophy. Despite limited game time, I was able to help Hearts of Oak win five trophies in the 2021/22 season”

“Now, the target is to win the Champions League that is why I am dreaming to play for Chelsea in England”

“I know is it not an easy task but I believe I can achieve it with God”

Sumaila won two MTN FA Cups, Ghana Super Cup, Ghana Premier League, and the President’s Cup under Samuel Boadu.

He must find himself a club before the start of the 2022/23 campaign.
