Defender Maxwell Arthur elated with new Dreams FC contract

Dreams FC defender Maxwell Arthur has expressed his excitement after agreeing to a new 2-year contract the club ahead of the next football season.

An official announcement from the Ghana Premier League giants has today confirmed that the versatile defender has inked a contract extension to continue his stay at the club until 2020.

“Maxwell Arthur has today renewed his contract with Dreams FC, keeping him at the Theatre of Dreams until 2022”, an official club statement has said today.

It adds, “The utility player has enjoyed a fine journey at the club playing a huge role in the team's historic G8 victory in 2018”.

Speaking in an interview, Maxwell Arthur has described Dreams FC as his home and says he is filled with joy with the new contract.

“Dreams FC is not just a club to me but a home and I am so excited to be here for another two years. I love the club and I am glad to still have the opportunity to serve”, he noted as quoted on the club’s website.

Dreams FC administrative manager Ameenu Shardow added: ‘We are delighted Maxwell Arthur will be staying with the club for another two years. I have no doubt that he will be a great addition to the team.
