Depay join hands with Under Armour to donate to frontline workers to support Covid-19 fight

Dutch-born winger of Ghanaian descent, Memphis Depay has confirmed that he is joining hands with Under Armour to donate clothes to frontline workers who are helping in the fight against the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the Netherlands.

The disease which has lasted for the past 6 months has spread to more than 180 countries and has currently infected over 2.5 million people.

Though there has been close to 700,000 people, at least 171,000 people have sadly lost their lives.

In the midst of the pandemic, it is frontline health workers who are working around the clock to save as much lives as they can and to put an end to it all.

In a bid to provide support, Memphis Depay and Under Armour is going to provide clothes for the frontline workers in addition to the protective clothes they put on.

"I want to thank all health workers for their incredible efforts during this crisis. Together with Under Amour. I’m donating shirts that will help medical staff to stay cool underneath all the PPE they must wear. Through this together," Depay said in a video he posted on his Instagram.
