On Tuesday, The GFA decided to bring an end to the Ghana Football Season mainly thanks to the negative impact of COVID-19. There was no relegation in the Ghana Premier League. Asante Kotoko and AshantiGold were picked as representatives in continental competitions.

The action left fans disappointed after a promising start to the league season with some negative remarks going to the administration of Kurt Okraku.

Derek, 37, has not lost faith in Ghana Football and believes that Kurt can help it rise again.

"Kurt is the GFA president right now. We all have to support him. We all have to pray so that football goes well in Ghana. People here take Ghana football seriously so we cannot stay there and let our football go like that. We all have to throw our support to Kurt Okraku."
