Defender Derrick Köhn has been named in Sofascore's Bundesliga 2 team of the week for his outstanding performance against Sandhausen in match week 26.

The defender scored and grabbed an assist in Hannover 96 3-1 win against Sandhausen in the German Bundesliga 2.

After a quiet start including the first goal approaches from Cedric Teuchert in the 5th minute and Havard Nielsen with a header in the 10th minute, the guests went in front with the first chance: Franck Evina collected a long through ball from Dennis Diekmeier and puts it in the path of Christian Kinsombi, who netted flat in the 14th minute.

Hannover 96 came out of the dressing room with a lot of energy and significantly more offensive power. Maximilian Beier made it 1-1 after the break assisted by Derrick Kohn.

Shortly thereafter, the lads rewarded themselves for the new spirit in the second half when Teuchert pushed through to Derrick Köhn, who scored low to take the lead and turned the game around 61st  minute.

After that, the Sandhausen hardly got forward because 96 controlled the game. Louis Schaub scored a nice goal in the 88th minute to make it 3-1.

Köhn made five key passes, 70 touches, one short on target, one clearance, one interception, one tackle, 76% pass accuracy, two big chances created and three long balls.
