France coach Didier Deschamps admits Manchester United winger Anthony Martial needs to step up his intensity.
Deschamps recalled Martial this week to his squad after a fourteen month absence.
The Les Bleus coach explained: "Anthony was there at the Euros, he has come back again this season after some time out.
"It's not because I did not take him that I do not think about him. He has the quality, it's up to him to show himself. He has to fight against his own nature where he tends to be relaxed at times.
"That's the high level, to maintain, to question himself every three to four days."
