Wa All Stars Captain Hafiz Adams has attributed their top spot finish in the first round of the Ghan Premier League to hard work and determination.
A lone goal from Richard Arthur against Berekum Chelsea away at the Golden City Park on Sunday fired Wa All Stars to the top of the Ghana Premier League.
Speaking to the press after the win, Captain of the Wa based side Hafiz Adams said all they wanted was a win to finish as leaders. "It's all about determination because the moment we were able to beat Kokoto in Wa, our focus and preparation was on Berekum Chelsea so that when we get here we will be able to get three points or a point and we made it so all thanks to Almighty Allah for making it happen" he said.
The win ensured that All Stars will end the first round as leaders of the league with a two-point lead over Aduana, Kotoko and Hearts.
