The sports court of the German Football Association (DFB) has handed down a significant blow to Borussia Dortmund II's young talent, Prince Aning, following his red card incident during the recent clash against Preußen Münster.

Aning, a Dutch-born Ghanaian youngster, will face a three-game suspension as a consequence of his actions in the intense matchup on Tuesday evening.

In a dramatic turn of events during the sixth minute of stoppage time, Aning's reckless challenge on Münster's Niko Koulis saw him dismissed from the field by referee Lars Erbst.

This marks Dortmund's eighth red card this season, adding to their challenges. As a result of the ban, Aning, who has made three appearances this season, will be sidelined for crucial upcoming fixtures against Verl, Unterhaching, and Duisburg. Borussia Dortmund has accepted the verdict, acknowledging its legal binding nature.

The 19-year-old has made three appearances for Borussia Dortmund II in the German third tier this season.
