Majority shareholder of Hearts of Oak, Togbe Afede XIV says his outfit will appoint a Director of Football soon to spearhead the technical directorship of the club.
The Phobians are set to experience a new direction under the Traditional ruler with several innovations including the start of their Pobiman project.
Speaking to GTV Sports Plus in an interview, Togbe Afede XIV stated that management of the club wants to put in good structures in order to compete with the likes of TP Mezembe and Al Ahly.
"We are therefore putting in good administrative structures at the very top of the pinnacle and, this is also been trickled down to the technical team and playing body as we seek to assemble the best materials possible to accomplish this task", he said.
"A Director of football will soon be appointed to spearhead the technical directorship of the club and, the recent recruitment of some players (local and foreign) to beef up the team also falls in this direction."
Hearts of Oak have failed to win any major silverware since winning the Ghana Premier League title in 2009.
