King Faisal PRO, Awal Mohammed, has expressed his dismay at the recent verdict handed down by the GFA Disciplinary Committee, claiming they got it wrong in the case of alleged player double identity.

Yesterday the GFA Disciplinary Committee dismissed King Faisal's protest against Tamale City.

King Faisal FC protested against Tamale City for fielding an unqualified player, Isaac Mensah who the club claim has another registration in the system as Jireh Kojo Nissi.

According to the Disciplinary Committee, the player Isaac Mensah was duly qualified to play.

Speaking to Peace FM monitored by Footballghana.com Awal Mohammed stated that King Faisal will appeal the verdict.

"If we look at the protest King Faisal did and the response Tamale City gave the Disciplinary Committee and the findings and grounds the Disciplinary Committee stood on to dismiss our case clearly the Disciplinary Committee did not do their work well or they don't know what they are doing. Where the truth is clearly they don't want to be truthful,"

"If you read the decision especially their findings and grounds they have accepted that per the records they have the player called Isaac Mensah and Jireh Kojo Nissi they are the same. If they are the same then who did the registration to let Isaac Mensah and Jireh Kojo Nissi to be the same person. If you look at their ruling especially point 2 that they are saying the player called Jireh Kojo Nissi his registration this season Tamale City did not renew his registration that part clearly they were not truthful,"

"If you go into Tamale City's system right now the player called Jireh Kojo Nissi is still in their system so it doesn't matter whether they renewed it this season or they didn't renew it this season he is still their player. What we said was that the two names are in their system we makes the player unqualified so it is an interesting decision the Disciplinary Committee took. They didn't use the laws in their in this case so this morning we are appealing the decision,"
