Disgraced Ex-England Boss Sam Allardyce Ready to Return to Football and Open to Management Abroad

Former England manager Sam Allardyce has suggested that he is ready to return to football following his controversial sacking by the FA, and is reportedly open to working abroad.

The 62-year-old was in charge of the Three Lions squad for just 67 days before being relieved of his dutiesafter being filmed by undercover reporters discussing ways of getting around third party payments for players, and has been out of the game since his leave in September.


However, speaking on beIN Sports,via theDaily Mail, the former Newcastle United, West Ham United and Blackburn Rovers boss is now looking to return to management following a short spell away, claiming the incident has made him a better coach, and suggesting that he would seriously consider an approach from a club in the new year.

"I think it will probably be in the new year if not before, depending on who approaches me," said Allardyce.

"I don't think I can leave it where it ended. That is behind me now. It was a very difficult, dark period of my time but, moving on, adversity makes you stronger.

"I'm looking forward to the right place for me, whether it is in England or abroad. It might be a global itch and it would be nice to venture somewhere that gives me a bigger challenge.

"The Premier League has been a great challenge for me over many, many years and one I think I've managed to meet."
