Division One side Star Madrid FC had a 4-1 winning start in the first preseason game against Alajo United on Wednesday morning.
The game which was played at the Oyarifa Park was decided by quality goals from coach Micheal Osei’s lads.
Nana Kobbina scored the first goal for Star Madrid, with Kofi Annan making it two before Ibrahim Giyasu and Kojo Ghartey added the rest. Later on, Alajo United equalized but it only served as a consolation in what ended as a 4-1 defeat for the side.
Coach Micheal Osei was pleased with the result and the performance of his players.
Up next for Star Madrid, the team will play against Accra Lions on Saturday at UPS in what will be the team’s second pre-season match.
